Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41
Echoes of the origins

Celebrating the birth of the Oyster, the yellow Rolesor Oyster Perpetual 41 marks the consecration of a hundred years of watchmaking success and revives the spirit of its origins.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 comes in an unprecedented configuration that expresses the essence of the Rolex watch with strength, simplicity and elegance. This model is available in a yellow Rolesor version, a combination of alloys that, in this case, features yellow gold for the bezel and winding crown, and Oystersteel for the case and bracelet. The touches of yellow gold recall the case and bracelet of some of the first Oyster models.

Yellow Rolesor
A combination of metals

A signature of the brand since the early 1930s, Rolesor combines gold and steel in a blend of sophistication and strength. The concept is simple: some elements of the case and bracelet are made of yellow, white, or Everose gold, while others are made of Oystersteel.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 in yellow Rolesor reimagines this aesthetic, pairing a yellow gold bezel and winding crown with a bracelet made entirely of Oystersteel, whereas Rolex watches in yellow Rolesor typically feature yellow gold center links on the bracelet.

Slate dial
A tribute to 100 years of the Oyster

On the slate dial, a new shade in the Oyster Perpetual range, the inscription "100 years" stands out at 6 o'clock, where the "Swiss Made" indication is usually found. Furthermore, each five-minute interval on the minute track is marked by a green square and the name "Rolex" pad-printed in the same green, the brand's chromatic identity.

Oyster case
A symbol of waterproofness

The Oyster case of the Oyster Perpetual 41 is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). The middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and is topped by a domed bezel. The case back, with its fine fluting, is hermetically screwed down with a special tool that only Rolex watchmakers can access. The Twinlock winding crown, fitted with a double waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case. The crystal is virtually scratchproof sapphire and benefits from an anti-reflective coating. The winding crown is embellished with the raised number “100”.

Oyster bracelet
Iconic and robust

Developed in the late 1930s, the Oyster bracelet is fitted on all models in the Oyster Perpetual range. Robust, comfortable, and elegant, this metal bracelet with a three-piece link construction is characterized by broad, flat links. On the Oyster Perpetual 41, the Oyster bracelet features an Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, which allows the wearer to easily increase the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm for additional comfort in any situation.

Calibre 3230
The quintessence of technology

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is equipped with calibre 3230, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement, which incorporates the blue Parachrom hairspring and the Chronergy escapement, ensures high performance, particularly in terms of precision, power reserve, convenience, and reliability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours thanks to the barrel architecture and the superior efficiency of its escapement.

Superlative Chronometer

Superlative Chronometer Certification

Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual 41 boasts Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive title attests to the timepiece’s outstanding performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is rigorously checked by independent and internationally recognised Swiss bodies.

Since 2026, Superlative Chronometer certification has been supplemented with three new evaluation criteria: resistance to magnetic fields, reliability, and durability, monitored throughout all phases of design and production of each individual watch. These involve hundreds of checks and validations that directly contribute to the timepiece's performance. The new criteria join those established during the redefinition of the certification in 2015, namely precision, waterproofness, self-winding, and power reserve. It was in that year that Rolex set up an exclusive protocol of tests concerning the finished watch, conducted within the manufacture on fully automated systems. Evaluated after the movement has been cased, the criteria concerning precision are particularly high. This must be within a deviation of –2 and +2 seconds per day. The rate deviation tolerated by the Brand for a finished watch is far lower than that permitted for the official certification of the movement alone.

The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolised by the green seal that accompanies every Rolex watch along with a five-year international guarantee.
