Rolex Datejust 41
Without a shadow of a doubt

Rolex is presenting an original version of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 in white Rolesor (a combination of Oystersteel and white gold), which stands out with its elegant green ombré lacquered dial.

The watch harmoniously combines the brand's characteristics: a fluted bezel, green colour, the robustness of steel and the preciousness of white gold.

Ombré green lacquered dial

For the first time since 2019, when ombré dials returned to the Brand's catalog, the coloring is done entirely by lacquering. The base of this new dial is made by first applying green lacquer, then, like all ombré dials, creating the color gradient by concentric pulverization of black lacquer. The dial, on which the white inscriptions stand out, is completed by Chromalight indexes. The legibility of the date window is accentuated by the contrast with the ombré edge of the dial. The timepiece is an invitation to mark this moment and to renew the perception of this iconic model, an indispensable reference in the history of the Oyster.

Fluted bezel
An authentic Rolex signature

The fluted bezel is made exclusively of precious metal. Before it became a purely aesthetic feature that distinguishes Rolex Classic watches, the fluting was used to screw the bezel onto the Oyster case, helping to ensure the waterproofness of the watch.

White Rolesor
A marriage of metals

A signature of the brand since the early 1930s, Rolesor combines gold and steel in a blend of sophistication and strength. The concept is simple: some elements of the case and bracelet are made of yellow, white, or Everose gold, while others are made of Oystersteel. In white Rolesor watches, only the bezel is made of white gold.

Oyster bracelet
Iconic and robust

The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 in white Rolesor, with an ombré green lacquer dial and fluted bezel, is fitted on an Oyster bracelet. Developed in the late 1930s, this three-piece link bracelet is known for its robustness. It features the Oysterclasp folding safety clasp and is equipped with the Easylink comfort extension link, developed by Rolex, which allows the wearer to easily increase the bracelet’s length by approximately 5 mm.

Calibre 3235
The quintessence of technology

The Datejust 41 is equipped with calibre 3235, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement with date function incorporates the blue Parachrom hairspring and the Chronergy escapement, ensuring excellent performance, particularly in terms of precision, power reserve, convenience and reliability. Calibre 3235 offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, thanks to its barrel architecture and the superior efficiency of its escapement.

Certification
Superlative Chronometer

Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41 is Superlative Chronometer certified. This exclusive designation attests to the timepiece's outstanding performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is rigorously controlled by independent and internationally recognized Swiss bodies.

Since 2026, Superlative Chronometer certification has been enhanced with three new assessment criteria: resistance to magnetic fields, reliability, and durability, monitored throughout all phases of design and production for each individual watch. This involves hundreds of checks and validations that directly contribute to the timepiece's performance. The new criteria are in addition to those established during the redefinition of the certification in 2015, namely precision, waterproofness, self-winding, and power reserve. It was in that year, in fact, that Rolex set up an exclusive protocol of tests on the finished watch, conducted within the manufacture on fully automated systems. Assessed after the movement is cased, the precision criteria are particularly high. This must be within a deviation of –2 and +2 seconds per day. The deviation allowed by the Brand for a finished watch is far lower than that permitted for the official certification of the movement alone.

The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that accompanies every Rolex watch, along with a five-year international guarantee.
