Submariner watches embody the historic link between Rolex and the world of underwater exploration. Created in 1953, the Oyster Perpetual Submariner was the first diver’s wristwatch waterproof to a depth of 100 metres. In 1969, the Submariner Date was launched. The waterproofness of both models was later increased to 300 metres. They are renowned for their robustness, functionality and aesthetics.
Delivered at the time of sale, the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned guarantee card officially confirms that the watch is genuine on the date of purchase and guarantees its proper functioning for a period of two years from this date.
Each pre-owned Rolex watch is subject to the same demanding controls as those of the after-sales service for models purchased new and are thus examined and tested, according to the strictest criteria. The Rolex Certified Pre-Owned seal that comes with the watch symbolizes its status as a certified pre-owned Rolex timepiece.
Each Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watch is presented in a distinctive pouch. The timepiece comes with the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned seal, a two-year international guarantee card, a service booklet and official papers.
Launched in 1945, it was the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial. The Datejust is offered in Oystersteel, in versions combining Oystersteel and yellow, white or Everose gold, or entirely in 18 ct gold, with a large variety of dials, bezels and bracelets. It is also available in diamond-set versions.
