The Yacht‑Master is immediately recognisable thanks to its bidirectional rotatable 60‑minute graduated bezel, made entirely from precious metal (Everose gold or platinum) or fitted with a black Cerachrom insert in high-technology ceramic. The raised graduations and numerals with a polished finish stand out clearly against a matt background. The functional and distinctive bezel, which allows the wearer to read a time interval – for example, the sailing time between two buoys – contributes fully to the unique identity of this watch.

Exclusive materials
Robust, precise, and perfectly waterproof, the Yacht-Master is one of the few Rolex Professional watches available in different diameters (37 mm, 40 mm, and 42 mm).
The Yacht-Master 37 and Yacht-Master 40 are available in Rolesium (a combination of Oystersteel and platinum) or in Everose Rolesor (a combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold) with a precious metal bezel and an Oyster bracelet. Both models are also available in 18 ct Everose gold with a black ceramic Cerachrom bezel insert and an Oysterflex bracelet.
Both models are also available in 18 ct Everose gold with a black Cerachrom bezel insert and an Oysterflex bracelet. The Yacht-Master 42 is available in 18 ct yellow or white gold with an Oysterflex bracelet and in RLX titanium – an alloy known for its lightness and its resistance to deformation and corrosion – with an Oyster bracelet.
Chromalight display
The Yacht‑Master offers excellent legibility in all circumstances, even in the dark, thanks to its Chromalight display: the large hour markers and broad hands are filled and coated, respectively, with a long-lasting luminescent material (blue glow).
Caliber 2236 and caliber 3235
The Yacht‑Master models are equipped with calibre 2236 (Yacht‑Master 37) or calibre 3235 (Yacht‑Master 40 and Yacht‑Master 42), self-winding mechanical movements entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. They offer outstanding performance in terms of precision, power reserve, convenience and reliability. Calibre 2236 offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and calibre 3235 offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
Superlative Chronometer Certification
The Yacht‑Master has the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive title attests to the timepiece’s outstanding performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is rigorously controlled by independent, internationally recognised Swiss bodies.
The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolised by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch, together with a five-year international guarantee.
