Aerodynamic and ultralight catamarans. Spectacular races on the seas of five continents. A unique experience for the public. The Rolex SailGP Championship, with Rolex as Title Partner and Official Timepiece, has revolutionised yacht racing and propelled competitive sailing into the future.
The fastest fleet in history
Twelve crews composed of the world's most talented sailors. Identical catamarans with foils and rigid wing sails. Capable of lifting out of the water and racing at speeds of 50 knots (almost 100 km/h), they compete in races lasting a maximum of 15 minutes. The Rolex SailGP Championship redefines the world of sailing competition with cutting-edge boats of exceptional performance. These flying boats, displaying the flags of the countries they represent, constitute the fastest fleet in history.
A spectacular competition
First held in 2019, the Rolex SailGP Championship has established itself as the most electrifying competition in the sailing world, with each season enriched by new events. Today it features a dozen races around the world throughout the year: from San Francisco to Dubai, from Auckland to Portsmouth, to the shores of Lake Geneva. Each Grand Prix delivers a breathtaking spectacle before packed grandstands, offering the public an exclusive experience.
